My Six Month Report

I joined at the end of May, 2008. Here is my report:

1. I have made a lot of friends at WA. They are more valuable than money.

2. In fact, friends at WA have helped me to earn a few bucks. Some have given me some really good tips, the stuff you don't find elsewhere.

3. I joined WA for a full year. I knew I would be a slow learner having messed around on Internet Marketing Programs since I retired about 15 years ago. That has proved to be true. Too many old habits to break. Just ask Carson and Kyle. They will tell you.

4. I already had about 500 articles in circulation when I joined. I never thought too much about making money with article writing. I had EZA change the resource box on my articles. Since that time, I have added to my article list but the recent articles actually get URL clicks. My Squidoo Lenses are up and running. They just don't bring the traffic that EZA does.

5. Recently, I started using ads again. A WA member told me how to do it. I love that format he provided and the power the ads have. I am getting lots of URL Clicks now. I understand that Google indexes such ads but it takes two weeks or so for Google to find your ad. Great expectations here based on the traffic being generated.

6. I've tried PPC over the years. Except for my flagpole site promotions (turned off now for the winter), I have not been successful. However, there is hope in the wind. Kyle had be write an ebook which I give away. I have four campaigns going and Kyle is teaching me how to make them work. It seems now, that when ever I ask a question, Kyle throws me right back to the Basics. I'm learning to do as I have been taught. Sometimes what we read is not registered as "important" so I miss the priority. That is why I'm always going back to the lessons and tutorials -- and to Kyle or Carson.

7. Carson tutored me first. I gave him a break and went to Kyle. I'm about ready to give Kyle a rest and go back to Carson but not until we get the current PPC campaigns working. Sorry, Kyle!

8. I've written a lot of tutorials. They have taught ME a lot. Also, I've been able to help a lot of people. So, that is a great reward to me. Also, I love collecting those gold coins.

9. I've decided that WA is the only place you really can Learn to Earn. But you have to stick around here to make money. Too many members drop out early. They are here and gone before you know it. We should all try to help new members succeed. A simple welcome goes a long way.

10. Oh, you want to know about the money? Well, so do I. That is why I'm working so hard. It trickles in but I have not sustained a reliable income. I paid off my one-year membership quickly from earned income here and from ClickBank. But I'm going to have to do what some of you other WA members are going. That is I should set a daily income goal. Let's see, 1 buck a day would be $365.00 / year. (Well, I guess I passed that.) Now if I can learn to make a buck-a-day and do that 100 times, I will have 36,500.00 a year. I could help my youngest son pay off his student loans.

OK! That will be my goal. Now you all are welcome to help me meet it.
