AHA! Made My First 3 Amazon Sale!

Right after being a WA member, I created 6 lenses with 1 article linked on each of them just to get a feel for creating lenses.

I updated the lenses for a couple of times, social bookmarked it...nothing really fancy. Matter of fact, I almost forgot about the lenses!

BUT guess what - I logged in today and I saw that I made 3 Amazon sales with it! Hahahaha. The amount is VERY neglible...BUT the fact that I was able to make a sale with it is a testament that this IM thing without even spending a dime in the process.

I can't help BUT imagine how much more would I have made had I created 10...20...or even 30 articles and more lenses!

As many of the folks here said, making the first sale is the MOST magical moment in IM!

$450 In 11 Days

Hi All,

I have been struggling along with affiliate marketing since August '08. I have gone through 2 other information products and learned a lot but now I am ready to hit the big time with WA. I just joined 2 days ago and I am excited to learn and expand on my current success of $450 in 11 days...

Since December 1st I have made $450 and that is my best month so far.

My Goal:
I want to reach $100 per day by September '09 coz I am going to America for a year to train as an MMA fighter in one of the world's best clubs. I have no doubt in my mind that I will reach this goal with the help of WA... I hope I can reach it much soon so I can quit my job which I really don't like

I hope we can all be successful and reach our goals.

I have been having good success this past month with clickbank. And for the past 3 days I have been averaging over $100 dollars. I am so happy I don't know what to do I have been struggling with IM for over 2 years and now I am starting to reap the benefits.

By the way this is with no adspend just SEO....

My Six Month Report

I joined at the end of May, 2008. Here is my report:

1. I have made a lot of friends at WA. They are more valuable than money.

2. In fact, friends at WA have helped me to earn a few bucks. Some have given me some really good tips, the stuff you don't find elsewhere.

3. I joined WA for a full year. I knew I would be a slow learner having messed around on Internet Marketing Programs since I retired about 15 years ago. That has proved to be true. Too many old habits to break. Just ask Carson and Kyle. They will tell you.

4. I already had about 500 articles in circulation when I joined. I never thought too much about making money with article writing. I had EZA change the resource box on my articles. Since that time, I have added to my article list but the recent articles actually get URL clicks. My Squidoo Lenses are up and running. They just don't bring the traffic that EZA does.

5. Recently, I started using ads again. A WA member told me how to do it. I love that format he provided and the power the ads have. I am getting lots of URL Clicks now. I understand that Google indexes such ads but it takes two weeks or so for Google to find your ad. Great expectations here based on the traffic being generated.

6. I've tried PPC over the years. Except for my flagpole site promotions (turned off now for the winter), I have not been successful. However, there is hope in the wind. Kyle had be write an ebook which I give away. I have four campaigns going and Kyle is teaching me how to make them work. It seems now, that when ever I ask a question, Kyle throws me right back to the Basics. I'm learning to do as I have been taught. Sometimes what we read is not registered as "important" so I miss the priority. That is why I'm always going back to the lessons and tutorials -- and to Kyle or Carson.

7. Carson tutored me first. I gave him a break and went to Kyle. I'm about ready to give Kyle a rest and go back to Carson but not until we get the current PPC campaigns working. Sorry, Kyle!

8. I've written a lot of tutorials. They have taught ME a lot. Also, I've been able to help a lot of people. So, that is a great reward to me. Also, I love collecting those gold coins.

9. I've decided that WA is the only place you really can Learn to Earn. But you have to stick around here to make money. Too many members drop out early. They are here and gone before you know it. We should all try to help new members succeed. A simple welcome goes a long way.

10. Oh, you want to know about the money? Well, so do I. That is why I'm working so hard. It trickles in but I have not sustained a reliable income. I paid off my one-year membership quickly from earned income here and from ClickBank. But I'm going to have to do what some of you other WA members are going. That is I should set a daily income goal. Let's see, 1 buck a day would be $365.00 / year. (Well, I guess I passed that.) Now if I can learn to make a buck-a-day and do that 100 times, I will have 36,500.00 a year. I could help my youngest son pay off his student loans.

OK! That will be my goal. Now you all are welcome to help me meet it.

My One-Year Wealthy Affiliate Story

Hello everyone!

My name is Chad, and I am an internet marketing-aholic.

Seriously though, I apologize for the long email, but I would like to share my one-year Wealthy Affiliate story and some of my recent success with those new and old to Wealthy Affiliate. I actually debated for a long time whether or not I would, or should, write this post. In the end, I decided that it would be beneficial for those thinking about joining Wealthy Affiliate, those just joining Wealthy Affiliate, or those who have been with Wealthy Affiliate for a while now and who may be struggling or getting frustrated. My hesitancy in writing this post was that I do not want to come across as bragging or that I know more than the next person, because I honestly don't, and still consider myself a very, very beginner, amateur internet marketer. In no particular order, I believe my success has been a combination of luck, hard-work, patience, and research, though I'm leaning toward luck. Without a doubt, though, any success that I've had to date is directly related and should be credited to Wealthy Affiliate and the guys behind it, Kyle and Carson.

For those that don't know me (which is everyone), here is a little bit about myself. I'm a 31-year-old attorney living in Florida, recently married, and even more recently with a little girl on the way. I love to play golf, drink beer, gamble, play poker, watch college football and basketball, and follow the Florida Gators. I'm obsessed with fantasy football, and I'd say overall, I have an obsessive-compulsive personality when it comes to most things I put my mind to.

In any event, I joined Wealthy Affiliate almost 1 year ago. As I write this, I can't even remember how I came to find Wealthy Affiliate, but I'm pretty sure it had something to do with sitting in my office researching something
about some law that I didn't care about. What I can tell you is that prior to joining, I had absolutely no experience with internet/affiliate marketing - didn't even know what it was. I guess you could say I was an internet marketing virgin.

Without writing pages and pages, what I hope this post accomplishes is that it shows everyone here what is possible if you not only trust what is offered to you here by Wealthy Affiliate and Kyle and Carson, but that you actually put into motion the skills you learn. By no means is it easy. Like a lot of us here, I was grabbing ankles after the last main Google slap, and I got very frustrated. I even wrote it off for a couple of weeks. One day, though, I sat down in front of my computer and told myself that failure is not an option and that success is inevitable. I scrapped everything I had done to date and started over - new campaigns, new account, new website, new everything. I think I may have even started using a new computer b/c I thought my old one was bad luck. I don't recommend this.

Bottom line - for a beginner (I still consider myself a beginner), and those more experienced, it is my opinion that you do not need anything else but this website. Internet marketing is ever-changing, something you must keep at daily. I learn something everyday here. I also screw up something everyday. But, you learn, correct your mistakes, and move on. Anyone can do this - but you actually have to do it.

Well, that really is all I wanted to say. Just don't half-ass your approach to this, and expect anything more than half-ass results.

Just so everyone doesn't think I'm full of s&$t, I have posted some of my sales from the last week or so. Again, please, I really do not want everyone to think badly of my posting this, but please use it as inspiration, motivation, etc...

Hey guys & gals,

I just wanted to share my success with everyone here and to express my gratitude to Kyle, Carson, Travis, Deb and many more who have helped me along the way through their forum posts. I am no where close to being where I want to be in this business but it's a start and I hope to eventually replace my current income through IM. These sales were made from only two products. For each product I have a Squidoo lens and a website and I have been advertising through Adwords and Yahoo. $56.00 in adspend. One of which was Travis's "Magic of Making Up". Out of the sales I made was because I had my Aweber sign up on the page. My goal is to just duplicate this 20 times every two weeks and I'll be where I want income wise. The toughest part of this journey is just finding what works and what doesn't and the only way I know how to do this is to read, learn, make mistakes, fail, read some more, learn some more,fail some more, make more mistakes but never ever quit and then finally things begin to fall in place.

Multiple Sales After 1.5 Months of Hard Work!!! Don't Give Up!

I have joined WA on October 13th I believe, and that's where my internet marketing started because money was very significant to me in order to pay for my bills and requirements. I never gave up hope for internet marketing, and learned and tried every single strategy I read. Through various trial and errors, I kept motivating myself to not give up (I still do).

I came home today from work to find that I had 4 SALES! I was shocked and was literally dancing around the house yelling I DID IT!

I want to tell everyone that if you have not made sales yet, KEEP WORKING HARD! DON'T GIVE UP! I know you have heard this THOUSANDS of times, but it's true! once you get your first sale, you know this works! This will motivate you like crazy to work even harder.

Making money is just about one step after another.

1. Learn
2. Try strategies
3. Try to get first sale
4. Expand your income by: Increasing CTR, conversion rates, ROI, etc etc
5. Reaching your long term goal of the income you want to make

I am now working on achieving 4, and hope to do well. I want to just tell everyone that success is possible if you don't give up!

I can't wait to get my check from clickbank!

Q: Who Are You?

-My name Is Jarrett, but most know me as Ghost.



I am living proof that if you want something bad enough, it's yours.. Not by natural gift, talent, or luck.. But sheer dedication and hunger. That is what will set you apart from the pack. And that is what will make you the best at whatever you put your mind to.

I went from running my own computer company when I was 13, to being one of the top graphic designers, top skiers, music producers, and music artist.

Honestly, I was HORRIBLE at skiing when I first started. I crashed thousands of times, all while skiing alongside of my brother and friends who picked it up naturally. But I never gave up, and every time I crashed, I got right back up and did again. As fate would have it I wasn't able to always quickly get back on the horse and do it again. Ocassionally it turned into a process of taking tobaggon rides, emergency medaflights, E.R., and months of recovery time.. haha, but the point remains. I got back on the horse. Despite all that. And it paid off.



This last year I gave up everything for music. And things were really picking up. I was voted one of the top artists on myspace, and things were only gettin better.





But life is full of surprises, and I ended up getting everything stolen from me including all my possesions, my computer, my car, and my bank accounts. I was left in the streets with barely the clothes on my back. - Literally, hah. and to be completely honestly, I barely even had that. So today, as I'm writing you on May 05 2008 I don't have a thing to my name and am back at my parent's house.

But. I've come to realize that the more shit I go through, the better my story is gonna be. So bring it on!

And I've come to the stark realization that I don't want to take the same route as everyone else.. In music I've met hundreds of artists all who have been grinding every day and hustling nonstop for the past 10 years. Many of which who ARE more talented and more gifted than I am.. And if it hasn't got them anywhere and is NOT working for them.. Why the hell would I follow their path?

The secret to success in any industry is really quite simple actually.. look at what everyone else is doing.. and then do the opposite.

So that's exactly what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna start my own path. Right now I'm pulling together all my talents into one and applying it to internet marketing which can in turn fund my music career, my life, and let me jump light years ahead of everyone else.

I'm going at this 100%. No excuses, no distractions, no bs and pure focus. I'm gonna do whatever it takes to make this happen and seize the day.

-When I say no distractions I mean it. Nothing Great In This World Came Without Sacrifice

Those are some of the realest words right there, and I understand that. I am giving up everything now, because I realize how much it's about to pay off. Ladies and gentlemen, take this into consideration. I have my own fan club dubbed the 'Ghost Girls'. I've got girls calling me off the hook. As hard as it is and as much as it hurts. I've blown them all off to concentrate on this. I'm guessing most of those girls are now pissed which is why they don't call me anymore. haha. But I don't care. I did not go out with them this wekeend. I stayed in and worked on this. Because I know this is going to repay me tenfold

Also, I can not explain to you how much it urks me seeing other artists around here stealing my spotlight, because I'm not out there doing shows right now. But I'm willing to dust all that off because I'm focused on my success and how much easier it's gonna be to kill this music industry with an extra $200,000 and more in my pocket. I won't need a record label telling me what to do. Hell I can kick that asshole record exec in the pants, tell him to take a hike, and that I'm going to start my own label instead.

Q: $200,000 Dollars. That's Quite A Bit Your First Year. What Makes You So Sure You Can Do It?

-I have already proven that with enough drive anything is possible. I understand it's not gonna be simple. I understand there are going to be days where I want to pull my hair out, bang my head against the wall, or throw in all my chips and call it quits.. But it is at the moment closest to breaking that separates the successful from the failures. It's taking that extra 10 steps, despite your body telling you it can't go on any more.. It's always darkest before the Sunrise. And likewise, that instant before you give up, could be the day before your biggest success.

Q: What Motivates Me?

-My success story. If you own more than 2 things to your name, then you're honestly better off then me right now. I have nothing. I was in the streets struggling to get food and sleeping on the ground in people's houses in the ghetto of Sac. Scrounging for food. We were cooking up meat from the dollar store. And believe me when I say that it does not get worse than that. hahaha, I never felt sicker in my life.

I am doing this for my brother. My brother just recently passed away. He always was my biggest fan, so I'm doing this for him. He worked the door at all my shows and stood right there with me. I want to touch people through my music. I want to share his message with thousands of people.. To help people who are struggling with addiction, alcahol, and drugs.. So every time I get frustrated, I'm just gonna sit back.. and remember why I'm doing this. I'm doing this for him, I'm doing this for you guys, I'm doing this for all my fans that look up to me, I'm doing this for everyone struggling, and I'm doing this to change my life!


BUT I NEED YOUR HELP!!! - I need you to be a part of this with me.
